1. PERMISSIONS FOR OPENING AN ONLINE CUSTOMER ACCOUNT AND ORDERS WITHOUT AN ONLINE CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

The personal information we obtain following the opening of an online customer account or an order without a customer account can be used by us and our authorised service providers – provided that you grant appropriate permission – for processing your orders or assignments, advertising and customer analysis. You grant us the right to use authorised service providers for this purpose.

Upon opening an online customer account, you give us permission to store your personal information in the online customer account. This enables you to access your order information with your user name and password. Of course you can always delete this customer account if you wish to, after which your account will no longer be available and your personal information will be deleted either immediately or at the end of any legally required retention periods.

2. OTHER PERMISSIONS

While completing your order or application forms, you can issue additional permissions for other matters, such as receiving our newsletter.

3. INFORMATION OVER THE TELEPHONE

We only inform our customers over the telephone in case of an urgent situation, for instance if a change occurs in an order for which it is no longer (reasonably) possible to (timely) inform by e-mail.

4. CREDITWORTHINESS ASSESSMENT

Customers to whom we deliver on credit grant us permission to carry out a creditworthiness assessment with agencies specialising in such assessments, with whom we request your information. During such a creditworthiness assessment, we may exchange information with credit issuing companies if justifiable reasons exist to do so. We also share negative information about our customers with these organisations, for instance if customers are unable or unwilling to settle their invoices. If this information leads to reliable conclusions with regards to bankruptcy or insolvency, these credit companies have the right to inform other interested parties.

5. OBJECT TO ADVERTISING AND WITHDRAWING PERMISSION

If you want to object against using your information for promotional purposes, of if you want to withdraw a permission granted before, a short notification informing us will suffice (for cookie and usage data, ref. 6 and 7.). To do so, please send an e-mail to:

7. STATISTIC EVALUATION OF USER INFORMATION

During each visit of a user to our website, information about this event is stored in protocol file to contribute to the optimization of our online presentation and a visual presentation of this web environment that meets the needs of its users. Furthermore, this data creates user profiles for which aliases are used. These include IP addresses (the alias), names of files that were requested, browser and operating system information, total amount of transferred information and notifications about successful data transactions. This stored information is exclusively analysed for statistics and is not combined with other personal information. If you want to object against using your information, you can send us a short notification instructing us to do so (as mentioned in 5). To ensure that we can respect your objection at any future moment, the cookie sent during your objection may not be removed in the future.

8. REQUESTING INFORMATION

At your request we will send you a free copy of all information we have stored about you or your alias. In accordance with applicable privacy laws, we are required to – at your request – inform you about any information we have stored about you, or to block or delete this. If you are registered on our website, you can always update your used information within your online customer account.
